My name is Mike Shea and this is my sim-racing team's website.  iRacing.com is where I race now days.  I've been racing online since 2003 and running with iRacing since June 2008.  I write about my sim-racing experiences here, post videos, and add links to sim-racing sites.  Have fun, check out iRacing.com and maybe I will see you at the track in the future.

I'm Back

Sorry it's been awhile since the last post.  I haven't raced much in 2010.  I did start 2010 Season 2 very well.  I'll probably pic and choose my races this season because I've missed so many races that division standings mean nothing for the remainder of season 2.

Things Are Changing At Shea Racing

With the change in location and team, Shea Racing has decided to change the look of its top 4 division oval cars.  The COT Chevy, Nationwide Chevy, Silverado Truck, and Late Model Chevy will change from a primary yellow to primary white.  There will still be yellow and purple on the cars.   Maybe with differnt colors, different luck might come my way.

Shea Racing Finds A Home.... Maybe

September 20, 2009
It seems that Shea Racing has found a new home.  The new Shea Racing "Shop" will be located south of Pikeville, North Carolina.  The deal will be finalized September 30th.  The "crew" will be very busy moving the equipment and cars into the new facilities once the deal finalizes.  The Shea Racing team will try to get to the track as soon as possible to try to get some points for Team Carolina.  For the first time, Shea Racing will be using engines from the Team Carolina engine shop that are famous for their horse power.

Shea Racing Hits The Road

Picture
July 22, 2009.
Shea Racing has started packing up the shop and loading the transporters that will be headed to North Carolina.  It was costing the team too much money hauling from Anchorage, Alaska to all the races in the lower 48.  The move to North Carolina and joining Team Carolina will be better for the team as a whole.  The money we save in travelling expenses can be put into the cars and should make a difference at the track.   We are leaving a nice shop in Alaska without a shop secured in North Carolina....things might get interesting.  Shea racing will miss part of 2009 Season 3, but will be back for Season 4.
